In Loveless there are two versions. The one that we listed is the poem version. The another version is…
When the war of the beasts brings about the world’s end
The goddess descends from the sky
Wings of light and dark spread afar
She guides us to bliss, her gift everlasting
The infinite mystery
The gift of the goddess is what the three men seek
But their fates are scattered by war
One is taken captured, one flies away
And the last becomes a hero
But the three are still bound by a solemn oath
To seek the answer together, once again
Though the prisoner escapes, he is gravely wounded
His life is saved, however
By a woman of the opposing nation
He begins a life of seclusion with her
Which seems to hold the promise of eternal bliss
But as happiness grows, so does guilt
Of not fulfilling the oath to his friends
As the war sends the world hurtling towards destruction
The prisoner departs with his newfound love
And embarks on a new journey
He is guided by hope that the gift will bring bliss
And the oath that he swore to his friends
Though no oath is shared between the lovers
In their hearts they know they will meet again
My friend, the fates are cruel
There are no dreams, no honor remains
The arrow has left the bow of the goddess
My soul, corrupted by vengeance
Hath endured torment, to find the end of the journey
In my own salvationAnd your eternal slumber
Legend shall speak
Of sacrifice at world’s end
The wind sails over the water’s surface
Quietly, but surely
Even if the morrow is barren of promises
Nothing shall forestall my return
To become the dew that quenches the land
To spare the sands, the seas, the skies
I offer thee this silent sacrifice
The version is an interpreted version of the poem Loveless. The poem Loveless is a very hard poem and its very hard to understand. So this version of the poem is created by the poet to make sure that we understand fully. In this NPPA we decided to do the original version and the interpreted version to refer as we might not understand the poem completely.
The theme of the poem "Eternity" is sadness, despair and betrayal.
The theme of the poem "Loveless" is love, betrayal, despair and sadness.

The similarities for this two poem is that their overall theme is almost the same which is sad,despair and betrayal. It is also about fear of the person who is wondering.
The differences is that in "Eternity" its about the man who is lost in the darkness.The man cursing about his despair.Soon he gave up.In "Loveless" its about the man searching for the gift of the goddess.He forgot about hate and remember only joy.However his pride is lost as he lied to someone.Soon he kill himself due to the guilt.

To a world that abhors you and I?

Eternity
Wandering in darkness grope,
Finding not a glimpse of hope.
Fingers touch to find my way,
Each foot fall,my heart betrays
The fear which drives me through the day.
Suddenly the ground is lost,
Flailing arms as body's tossed.
Splashing down in crimson pool,
The warm embrace is much too cruel,
I curse this lowly, wretched fool.
Floundering in this self made hell,
Warmth increasing as i dwell.
Within the confines i create,
Screaming as myself berate,
Giving in to this, my fate.
